1. Who we are

BaltimoreAI Text Assistant ("the service") is operated by Kimura Consulting LLC, doing business as BaltimoreAI ("we", "us", "our"), in Baltimore, Maryland. This policy covers the text message service. Section 10 covers the rest of baltimoreai.org.

2. What we collect

• Mobile number. The number you enter on the sign-up form.
• Name. The name you enter on the sign-up form.
• Message content. The text messages you send us and the replies we send you.
• Saved items. Lists, tasks, notes, reminders, and profile details you ask the assistant to keep.
• Usage timestamps. When messages are sent and received.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your messages.
• To keep the thread of a conversation so replies make sense.
• To send the reminders and check-ins you ask for.
• To keep the lists, notes, and other items you save.
• To answer your support requests and to fix problems with the service.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.

4. AI processing

Your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude models through Amazon Bedrock, a service of Amazon Web Services, in the United States.

Your message content is not used to train models.

5. How long we keep things

• Conversation history: kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
• Saved items (lists, tasks, notes, profile details, reminders): kept until you delete them or close your account.
• Operational logs: we keep the first 50 characters of messages for 30 days for troubleshooting.

6. Who we share it with

We share your information only in two cases:

• Service providers that we need to run the service, such as Amazon Web Services, which hosts the service and processes messages through Amazon Bedrock. They may use the information only to provide the service to us.
• When the law requires it, such as a valid legal process.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it for anyone's marketing or advertising.

7. How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message. We send one confirmation message and then send you nothing more. Reply START to rejoin.

8. Access and deletion

Email info@baltimoreai.org or call (410) 826-1065 to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it. We will confirm when it is done.

9. Children

The service is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. This website

This section covers the rest of baltimoreai.org, separately from the text message service.

Live demos. Some pages under baltimoreai.org/demos run a live AI demo. What you type there is sent to a Cloudflare Worker we run. The Worker checks that the request came from our own site, applies a per-visitor rate limit keyed on your IP address, counts requests against a daily total, and then forwards your text to Anthropic's API, which generates the answer. The Worker does not write your text to storage. The only thing it stores is a daily counter of how many demo requests were made, which holds no message content.

Contact form. The contact form on the home page is handled by Formspree. The name, email address, service selection, and description you enter are sent to Formspree, which delivers them to us by email.

Analytics. The home page, the demos index, and these two legal pages load the Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity. These are third-party tools that record page visits and how visitors use the page. They are operated by Meta and by Microsoft under their own privacy policies.

Other embeds. The home page embeds YouTube video and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Those requests go to Google.

None of this is connected to the text message service, and none of it receives mobile numbers or text message content.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make a material change we will tell you by text message and update the date at the top of this page.
